Job Description

Key responsibilities of the hire:

Ability to create the technical design and provide architectural guidance to solve business problems and contribute to development of service based application built using Java, Spring and JavaScript/ Web UI, and SQL/ MySQL/Oracle as database to meet client requirements. The job responsibility will also involve Build and deployment of the application.

USP of the job: Opportunity to work on the full development cycle, from design, coding to deployment using emerging technologies.

Mandatory Skills

• Java (Lambda expressions, Collections and Stream API)

• Junit

• Java Script, JS framework React , Node.js

• Spring Framework (DI and IoC, Spring MVC and REST API, ORM and Spring Data JPA, JMS/Messaging in Spring)

• Understanding of Web service, REST API and microservices architecture

• SQL (Joins/Subqueries/Stored Procedures)

• Build tools like Maven or Gradle, Build Pipeline (CI/CD)

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills

Additional Skills

• Blaze Advisor Rule Engine

• Experience in Containerization / Docker, K8S

• Experience in Testing Tool like Fitnesse, JMETER, Postman

• Microservices Development using Spring Cloud

• Exposure to Architecture Design Patterns

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and modification of new software or enhancements, taking into consideration software capabilities.

  • Strong emphasis on ease of use for the business user

  • Debug complex issues that span multiple modules, involve intricate concurrency, or low-level problems.

  • Work with all stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions as per requirements.

  • Estimate the effort required for both current and future small to medium-sized projects.

  • Propose and lead improvement projects for development, deployment, or application monitoring processes.

  • Share knowledge within the team through mentoring, coaching and technical talks.

  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
