Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an ASIC Development Support Intern. The ASIC Development Support Intern will be responsible for obtaining, configuring, and documenting various Process Design Kits (PDKs) from potential ASIC foundry vendors and provide support for the tools used by a product development team to design the next-generation mixed-signal automotive Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) for Powertrain and Power Electronic (Electrification) products.

Key Responsibilities

• Download and install Process Design Kits (PDKs) from potential Foundry vendors

• Analyse network performance and recommend improvements

• Aid in evaluation of ASIC design environment, tools, and network

• Validate, verify and put in place ASIC tool support documentation

• Update web pages and/or Teams sites with pertinent information

• Write shell/PERL scripts to support ASIC design team

• Evaluate options for remote connections

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college

• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date

• Proficient with UNIX/Linux Operating Systems and servers

• Preference for knowledge of enterprise networking

• Ability to write shell and PERL scripts

• Extra consideration for HTML programming ability
