Opportunity

Kohler Co. is looking for an entrepreneurial candidate with exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation and product management to join it’s Toileting team. You will be joining a leading global brand committed to living on the leading edge in design and innovation.

The Product Analyst will work support the Toilets team by leading comprehensive analysis and making recommendations to delight customers and drive business results. This involves collaborating with NPD (New Product Development) teams to develop product scopes, monitoring the competitive landscape, making pricing recommendations, and execution of new product launches. This role is highly cross-functional with exposures to many areas of the business.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the toileting portfolio management through creation of product roadmaps, new product development and discontinuation of existing products.

  • Lead analysis for marketing and business team, formulate and test hypothesis and present recommendations Develop a competitive landscape that includes innovation, products, pricing, trends, and market share.

  • Become the Voice of the Customer, by developing market insights and customer relationships that can be translated into new products and product strategies.

  • Design and deliver captivating presentations that effectively convey product information, business strategies, data insights, and other relevant content.

  • Collaborate with the sales organization on product needs, sales samples, and other requests to drive business growth.

  • Draft internal and external communications highlighting new product launches and sales tools.

  • Conduct margin and financial analysis as required by the team.

  • Develop relationships with customers, sales, new product development, and other stakeholders that can contribute to the development of new product and business ideas.

  • Demonstrate competency in the following: Drive Continuous Improvement, Set High Standards of Performance, Focus on the End Customer, and Build Trust.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Organization Relationships:

  • Works closely with sales, customer service, accounting, marketing and new product development teams

External Business Relationships:

  • Provides timely product support to external customers.

  • Engages with customers to build relationships and understand the market and needs.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.

  • 2+ years of experience with a track record of high performance in academics or a work setting.

Travel

  • Travel to trade shows and customers as needed, approximately 10-20%

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $66,300 - $83,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
