Job Title: Plumber Apprentice

Job Description

A Plumbing Apprentice performs general labor and plumbing assistance under the direction of a Journey Plumber to perform the day-to-day activities of the project. Responsibilities include assisting journeyman plumbers in installing and maintaining plumbing systems, progressing yearly in reading blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications, and assisting in determining water supply networks and waste drainage. Additional duties involve cutting openings in structures for pipes, installing supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment, assembling and installing valves and fittings, measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes, observing pressure gauges, and assisting in testing and fixing pipe systems.
