Actalent is Hiring a Team of Phlebotomists / Multiple Shifts Available!!Job Description

This role involves supporting the Emergency Room (ER) by performing phlebotomy tasks at an advanced level. The phlebotomist will use electronic handheld devices to facilitate their work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Collect and properly handle venous and capillary specimens.

• Register patients, lab contracts, and specimens, ensuring all registration data is accurate and complete.

• Prepare, check for accuracy, and implement charting of Laboratory, Pathology, and Imaging reports as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital with a capacity of 250 beds or more.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 27 Intensive Care Units (ICUs).

Work Environment

The role is based in a hospital environment. Shifts available: Sun-Wed 7am-5:30pm OR 9pm-7:30am
