    Job Summary for the Capture Manager position:

    The Capture Manager conducts qualitative and quantitative research in support of the Company's growth objectives. They organize, manage, and report critical data to build and maintain a sustainable new and existing business pipeline. The Capture Manager is responsible for managing the entire capture process for government contracting opportunities, from the initial identification of potential bids to the final proposal submission. This role requires a deep understanding of the federal procurement process, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to develop competitive and compliant proposals.

    The Capture Manager will be responsible for overseeing and identifying potential government contracting opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives and capabilities. They will develop and execute capture plans that include win strategies, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies to improve the chances of winning contracts. The Capture Manager will lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including business development, proposal management, pricing, and technical experts, to ensure a cohesive and competitive proposal. To enhance the company's competitive position, they will maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as government clients, partners, and subcontractors. The Capture Manager will oversee the development of proposals, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements, accuracy, and alignment with the capture strategy. They will conduct a thorough competitive analysis, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of competitors to refine the company's proposal and pricing strategy. The Capture Manager will prepare and present capture status updates and recommendations to senior leadership at crucial decision-gate reviews. They will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating critical capture information.

    Key Responsibilities for the Capture Manager:

  • Providing business development intelligence to leadership.

  • Participating with team members in delivering time-sensitive intelligence.

  • Conducting market research regarding new business opportunities.

  • Reviewing and analyzing solicitation (RFP, RFI, RFQ, etc.) documentation as part of the opportunity analysis and proposal development process.

  • Driving new business opportunity-level competitive positioning assessments.

  • Conducting daily searches of government contract databases for new business opportunities and reporting curated findings in daily and weekly reports.

  • Tracking follow-up actions on designated opportunities of interest.

  • Ensuring the company's profile is accurate and current in relevant opportunity databases.

  • Conducting pipeline financial analysis and preparing reports for executive leadership that address details such as total value, expected value, and schedule.

  • Manage BD pipeline and review presentations and displaying metrics via dashboards, graphs, and charts.

  • Working with leaders to ensure specific areas of interest and opportunities are addressed.

  • Conducting research on known and suspected competitors, potential teammates, and subcontractors.

  • Providing support to proposal development, production, and delivery, as needed.

  • Assisting BD team members with logistics, scheduling, and other support

  • Supporting various inter-departmental projects and initiatives as an extension of business development, as assigned.

  • Attending industry events regarding upcoming opportunities and supporting leadership in the analysis of presented information.

    Qualifications for the Capture Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or other similar or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in capture and business development initiatives or intelligence

  • 3-5 years of GOVCON Business Development and Capture experience, OR Intel Analyst Experience

  • Experience Managing Small Teams- 1 year

  • Demonstrated experience or aptitude for working in a fast paced, federal contracting environment.

  • One year of Supervisory Experience

  • Proficiency in MS Word, SharePoint, Excel, and other MS Office 365 applications.

  • Ability to become quickly proficient in other data management and CRM applications

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to multitask; organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects.

  • Ability to safeguard sensitive information.

  • Ability to adapt easily in a growing and developing environment.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
