Job Summary The Fleet Sales Program Manager is the primary contact for coordinating and organizing the fleet management process at Kenworth. The goal of this position is to drive completion of tasks required to streamline a fleet s spec, build event, and tracking open issues to resolution within all functions of the business. The role is key to ensure communication flows freely between all of Kenworth s business entities. Additionally, the Fleet Sales Program Manager will be another resource for the fleet for spec or process questions. In short, this position is instrumental as a subset of our key fleet or conquest customers. This position will be located in Kirkland, WA. Here's what you will do in this role: Provide leadership, high level decision making, and strategic planning skills to move forward processes and team roles within the Fleet Management department. Support development of the fleet's specifications along with the fleet sales manager and fleet sales technical team. This includes traveling to the customer's operations for evaluation and lending program management skill set. Consult with fleet sales managers, sales administration, and engineering to make sure the spec is priced right and buildable, and with operations and materials to coordinate all tasks associated with processing, building chassis, and tracking open issues towards closure. Responsible for documenting customer pilot reviews and then coordinating the feasibility assessment of each action item with engineering, materials, operations, and sales, making sure to bring all issues to closure. This includes gathering information on or developing a business case for custom design requests for given fleets. Cross-functional leadership in working with Kenworth factory fleet support team in regards to pilot builds and fleet expectations. Consult and conduct meetings to track all open fleet account issues pertaining to spec'ing, build events, and after sales/field service issues. Create and implement new tracking dashboards and process improvements to improve group efficiencies. Lead by example and initiate new fleet desired options through Kenworth business systems. Assist in building priority of projects to meet customer needs. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of experience within the organization with demonstrated leadership success required. Key decision making and leadership skills in current or previous roles.
