Job Title: Administrative Assistant 1Job Description

Summary: The main function of an administrative assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions. A typical administrative assistant acts as an information and communication manager for an office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.

  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents.

  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.

  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence including faxes and emails.

  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills.

  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Time management skills.

  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is a professional office setting. You will be using standard office equipment such as computers, fax machines, and scanners. The role may require you to sit for extended periods while performing various clerical tasks. The dress code is business casual.
