Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Kirkland, Washington

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk in Kirkland, Washington. The primary function of this role is to handle the accounts payable processes in a fast-paced telecom industry. This position will be based in a dynamic, team-oriented workplace where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our financial operations. This is a part-time role that will have an estimated 20 hours per week and is a hybrid set up with training in the office to start. This contract is an estimated 3 months in duration.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and circulate invoices for approval, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

• Post approved invoices to Sage Intacct, ensuring correct allocation to respective accounts.

• Set up new vendors in the system and maintain up-to-date records.

• File completed packets that have been paid in an organized and accessible manner on Google Drive.

• Use your knowledge of Sage Intacct, or an equivalent system, effectively for accounts payable functions.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel skills to manage and analyze data related to accounts payable.

• Perform Account Reconciliation to compare account balances and rectify discrepancies.

• Conduct Check Runs to make payments to vendors in a timely manner.

• Use proficiency in Coding Invoices to classify expenses accurately.

• Execute Data Entry tasks efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is inputted correctly.

• Handle Invoice Processing, ensuring all invoices are accounted for and paid promptly.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct software

• Extensive experience in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrable skills in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Proven ability in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• A firm understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
