TEKsystems Desktop Support Technician in Kinston, North Carolina

Description:

We are hiring a desktop technician for a major healthcare organization in Kinston, NC. They are looking for a technician to join their team in a long term, extendable contract. This individual will be supporting the hospital and the surrounding ambulatory clinics. Main duties include break/fix tickets and service requests 50% of the time, and 50% of the time they will be supporting projects that include hardware refreshes, deployments, migrations, etc. They will also be spending some time supporting asset management, commissioning and decommission devices.

Some of the break fix issues could be related to PCs, printers (including zebra printers) and other peripheral devices (connectivity), why applications aren't running, putting machines into AD, onboarding new users, and set up of work stations.

Experience using ServiceNow as a ticketing system is a plus. They use Bomgar to do remote support, they have desktops and VDI. Vocera Support for their Voice Environment, and Empravada Badge Access.
