As a Lab IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance for all IT systems and equipment within a manufacturing or industrial plant environment. Working closely with plant personnel and IT staff, you will ensure the reliable operation of computer systems, production machinery, and network infrastructure to support plant operations. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT systems, and implementing improvements to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.

Duration: open ended w2 contract in 3 year durations

Shift: M-F 8 AM-5 PM Central

responsibilities:

Required Skills - Knowledge of Opto 22 system, SQL, JavaScript. Desktop, Networking, Wireless,

Job Duties - Work with Lab personnel on support of Instrument computers and systems including working with

vendors and support personnel to maintain these systems.

? Work with lab groups to promote connectivity of processes and instruments to the lab network.

? Work with lab groups to enable automation of data movement between instruments and cloud

locations; enable auto-manipulation of data to improve speed of analyses

? Develop good working relationships with all site groups including Labs and local IT group.

? Work with site Subject matter experts on OPTO 22, SQL databases for lab systems, Lab

instruments, etc.

Job Requirements - Knowledge of computer/network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques is

required.

? Knowledge of Applications development is a plus.

? Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft (MS) operating systems and office

products, MS PowerShell, MS SharePoint, MS TEAMs is a plus.

? Self-motivated, assertive, energetic and a strong work ethic who can also work with minimal

managerial intervention and lead projects.

? Ability to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment.

? Very strong customer service orientation.

? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and testing abilities.

? Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple projects in a research lab environment.
