Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security on the Overseas Installation Services (OSIS) program .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Proactively consults with Project Managers or Design Engineers to comprehend project scope of work and required disciplines to perform tasks; advanced communication skills required.

  • Strategically coordinates, plans, and schedules adequate professional services employees to specific projects; works with Project Management team to identify and assign available resources based on needed expertise.

  • Prepares, maintains and submits performance reports and time recording/expense reports in accordance with published procedures.

  • Develop and maintains organizational operational documents and procedures including organization charts, hiring plans, training plans, and SOPs.

  • Inventory and maintain record of government equipment within the OSIS facility

  • Provide input to the development of resource staffing needs; collaborate with senior management and subject matter experts to identify skill trends in the future to prepare for hiring needs.

  • Escort and remain with uncleared visitors to the office while on premises

  • Uses sound judgment, applies general business principles, and demonstrates initiative in carrying out assigned duties; requires minimum supervision.

  • Possesses strong project support and time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects

  • Performs other duties as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 3+ years of related work experience.

  • Must have a current U.S. Government final SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to qualify for an INTERIM SECRET Security Clearance.

  • Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs; to include Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range:

$29.42 - $51.49
