Description

Van Drivers in our Transportation Department in Kingston work split shifts (mornings and afternoons), Monday through Friday, transporting individuals with disabilities. Drivers must exhibit a high degree of competence and responsibility for the safety of passengers being transported.

A high school diploma or GED is desired. A valid New York State Class B or C driver's license with/without Passenger Endorsement, or Class D and a driving record acceptable to The Arc Mid-Hudson and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment.

And we offerpaidCDL training! New hires will be expected to successfully obtain CDL license with Passenger Endorsement within 90 days of first day of employment.

HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/variable split shifts, according to route schedule

STARTING SALARY:

$ 18.12 to $ 19.84 for Driver without CDL/Passenger endorsement

$ 20.12 to $ 22.14 for Driver with CDL/Passenger endorsement

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred

• Valid New York State Class B or C driver's license with/without Passenger Endorsement, or Class D and a driving record acceptable to The Arc Mid-Hudson
