DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary responsibilities of the individual in this role will involve actively engaging in various technical tasks related to inspecting materials and work quality on construction projects within the transportation sector. The main objective will be to ensure that all aspects of the construction process adhere to the specified contract requirements, as well as the established standards and specifications.

One key aspect of the role will involve creating detailed inspection checklists for each specific operation under your purview. This will necessitate thorough research into the relevant contract items outlined in documents such as Pub 408, POM, RC Standards, BC Standards, BD standards, special provisions, and any other pertinent materials related to the particular task at hand.

Additionally, the individual will be expected to provide support in inspecting various phases of transportation construction work, including but not limited to verifying grades, elevations, structure stake-out, and roadway stake-out. This comprehensive approach to inspection will be crucial in ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the approved codes, plans, standards, and specifications.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree. Other Requirements: This particular position requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License. You must meet the PA residency requirement.
