Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the King of Prussia, PA office:

Client Service Sr. Specialist

What can you expect?

  • The role will encompass overseeing client servicing for delegated investment services clients (Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Not For Profit)
  • Use understanding of product knowledge to over see client service team and respond to client escalations
  • Respond to performance report inquiries
  • Work with client leads to determine the full scope of services provided to the client and set roles and responsibilities within the client team and investment solutions group
  • Be risk-aware and contribute to culture of continuous improvement
  • Participate in risk mitigation after identifying potential challenges

We will count on you to:

 

  • Oversee client service team
  • Develop and train team to allow for career growth
  • Set performance standards and assess toward team production and procedures
  • Provides guidance and support to Relationship Managers
  • Assists in the strengthening of at-risk relationships
  • Resolves complex client issues related to products or processes
  • Influences changes among the team to improve end-to-end processes and meet client needs
  • Participates in solution development with internal colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Supports Relationship Managers in identifying potential options for solutions
  • Participates in special projects

What you need to have:

 

  • BA/BS degree in finance, economics, or other business-related areas
  • 3 - 6 years of experience within the investment industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in this client-facing role
