Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:30 Friday 7:30-11:30, Overtime, describe requirements - As needed
Summary of Position
This job performs general administrative work of moderate difficulty and very high volume involving independent judgment to support the Business Office processing and maintenance of student financial hold activity.
Minimum Required Education
A high school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Required Experience
Four years experience with at least one year experience in financial or bookkeeping area OR
Two years experience with at least one year in financial or bookkeeping area with certification or 30 hours college credit OR One year financial or bookkeeping experience with Associates Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to interact effectively with the public and with all levels of employees.
Demonstrated data-entry and word-processing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to proofread and verify data entry and reports with a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheet software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
Ability to operate 10-key calculator by touch.
