Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - varies; no more than 19.5 hrs/week

Summary of Position

This job performs general instructional work for non-credit courses. Must be knowledgeable in the areas of Leadership, Customer Service, Communication in the workplace and conflict mitigation. Position will be knowledgeable in procedures to achieve a positive learning environment for students and create a favorable work environment for the Continuing Education department.

Minimum Required Education

High School or GED required with acceptable combinations of education and work experience. Pertinent certifications when required for subject matter taught.

Minimum Required Experience

One to five years experience working in subject area to be taught, experience must include paid work experience being a facilitator or instructor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to maintain an effective classroom learning atmosphere.

• Ability facilitate training and knowledgeable in subject being taught

• Ability to work under precise and exacting conditions.

• Ability to interact effectively with the public, students, faculty and college personnel.

• Develop/Executive training plans
