To provide IDL skill training, recreation, and socialization opportunities. To record data and maintain progress reports. To participate in staff training as required. To meet with the Supervisor on a monthly basis or as required. Other duties as assigned High School Diploma or GED required Ability to work flexible days and hours Good communication skills Ability to travel to individuals home. Bilingual Chinese Required (Mandarin/Cantonese) Physical Efforts: -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to taste, smell, stand, walk, sit, reach with hand and arms, climb stairs, bend, or kneel. -Able to effectively perform necessary lifesaving techniques such as CPR, First Aid, and Heimlich maneuver when situations arise. -Ability to safely and appropriately operate and utilize kitchen appliances. -Able to assist or call for help during emergencies. Mental Efforts: -Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. -Ability to communicate and to write sentences in simple English. -Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and information appropriate to the job. -ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from others.
