Koniag Operations Services (KOS), a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring an experienced Trainer to support KOS and our government customer. This position will be located at our customer’s site in Kettering, OH.

KOS is seeking a Trainer to assist with the development, training, and sustainment of systems for the AFLCMC/GB4 program. The selected candidate will participate in training activities in an Agile environment to develop, maintain, and secure applications operating in the cloud environment. Candidate must have a positive attitude and the flexibility to adjust to US Air Force and DoD IT mandates pertaining to the development and security safeguards of application systems.
Responsibilities:
Conducts educational programs and training sessions for staff on IT systems and applications.
Create, update, and maintain training materials, including documentation and online training courses.
Schedules training events and conducts training seminars.
Supports the development and presentation of Ask Me Anything (AMA) training and Computer-Based Training (CBT) modules published to Air Force myLearning, and related documentation.
Works with Mission Partners as needed to develop training strategies and provide training to Mission Partners.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must be a US citizen
Holds a successfully completed in-scope NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation or is eligible for an interim public trust while undergoing a new NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation.
Experience developing and maintaining various technical training materials for functional users
Three (3) years of functional experience
Three (3) years of technical experience
Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and technical specialists
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Working knowledge of AF logistics systems and AF cataloging systems
Agile trained and/or certifications
Working knowledge of software life cycle management
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
