How You Will Make an Impact:

As a Warehouse Purchaser, you will hold a crucial role ensuring inventory is replenished, PO’s are created and knowing the status of orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily review of Issuance and Transaction reports, Min/Max requirements, etc. to ensure continuous replenishment of required recommended spare Inventory parts.

  • Issuance of PO’s for inventory and non-inventory expenses.

  • Order consumables (monitor usage and order accordingly), Work with vendors to ensure they are maintaining proper fill requirements of bolt bins, aerosols, and other consumables.

  • Maintain updated parts and component ordering catalogs, manage parts life cycle via Epicor.

  • Maintain a list of consumables and create an effective ordering schedule.

  • Enter new Atlas part #s when needed.

  • Monitor aging PO’s and follow up on status.

  • Request vendor quotes to ensure best pricing and value is being maintained.

  • Create/distribute blanket PO’s – Monitor for adherence to cost restrictions.

  • Create service PO’s – Monitor invoice receipts.

  • Coordinate repair/return shipments and orders.

  • Maintain list of current orders and communicate order statuses.

Minimum Requirements:

  • One to two years of previous experience in a procurement role/capacity.

  • The ability to communicate effectively, written/verbal.

  • High school Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

  • Minimum one year driving experience.

  • Candidates must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background check.

  • Typing skills - minimum of 45 wpm.

  • Basic understanding of G/L coding/accounting practices (AP, Procurement).

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving and reasoning skills.

  • Ability to learn and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

  • Required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit and climb or balance.

  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally team lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Capable of working a rotating shift: 10-hour days Monday -Friday.

  • Must be able to tolerate working conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.
