As a Manufacturing Supervisor at our Manufacturing Department in Kerkrade your main responsibility is to manage people and transform our team towards a High-Performance Culture. You excel in this environment, and you will continuously raise the bar whilst showing state-of-the-art performance, even in challenging situations.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• The majority of time is spent overseeing your Manufacturing team, managing individual- and team performance, developing talent, engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing, and / or directing responsibilities of direct reports.

• Define performance goals and targets, conduct performance reviews, and manage illness processes to guide performance management, employee development, and manage toward departmental goals.

• Prioritizes production schedules based on employee availability, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Participate in and lead daily Tier management meetings.

• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area to meet production goals and objectives. Implementation of activities in production area include Lean transformations. You will closely partner with the Operational Excellence team on site.

• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 5-7 years of work experience in similar roles.

• Understands people management approaches such as defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, employee development efforts, manage toward departmental goals and manage illness processes of your team.

• Strong proficiency in Dutch and English.

• Ability to work in Shifts (approx. hours): Monday to Friday, 05:45 to 14:15 / Monday to Friday 14:45 to 23:15.

Nice to Haves

• Good documenting, reporting and presentation skills.

• IT proficient (knowledge of SAP and MES systems an advantage).
