CU Answers Procurement and Fulfillment Specialist in Kentwood, Michigan
DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
The Procurement and Fulfillment Specialist will assist with purchasing and inventory management for the Network Services technology division.
Essential Job Functions
Place orders for hardware, software and services from various technology vendors to fulfill client orders and internal purchase requests.
Handle inventory from receiving to end user shipment or internal implementation. Packaging and shipment via UPS Worldship.
Interface with the Accounting Department as necessary to deliver invoices, packing slips and hardware requests, as well as reconciling physical inventory monthly.
Provide order status information, both client-facing and internal, as well as price quotes, updating Network Services ticketing systems as necessary.
Respond to team communication in a timely manner to support SLA's.
Maintain clean and organized environment for all shipping, receiving, and inventory spaces.
Special project participation, as required, and other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent is required.
Good written (email) and verbal (phone) communication skills, as well as willingness to ask questions and seek help when needed.
Having a collaborative and teamwork focused approach is essential.
Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office Suite applications (basic Excel skills with openness to advance as desired).
Good organizational skills, including time management for daily tasks, and the flexibility to change priorities and routines is of the utmost importance.
Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential data.
Valid drivers license required.
