The Physician Security Technician provides technical and physical security support for Valvoline plants, offices, and laboratories and manages alarm, CCTV, access control equipment, and systems including ID badge printing and documentation. This role will oversee the installation, use, and maintenance of all physical security equipment including alarms, cameras, video recording equipment, access control and Interfacing with security portals to schedule security work, modify contacts, code, and call tree information, run standard and exception reports, schedule and perform system tests, and manage permits. This role will also oversee the administration of all security software and liaison with the Information Technology department.

Job Duties:

• Performs remote troubleshooting including inspections and diagnose any problems. Plans for and schedules repairs. Tests all security equipment regularly to ensure optimum functioning.

• Edits and documents any code and site permission modifications for employees, temporary workers, and contractors. Audits these permissions regularly.

• Assists in the physical security design and installation of new and upgraded security systems and access control. Reviews security and repairs quotes for accuracy and ability to integrate with current systems.

• Issues access codes and ID cards codes to staff and maintain records of all persons having electronic access to Valvoline facilities. Programs and maintains access control alarm and ID systems

• Ensures all security work complies with relevant codes and regulations.

• Remotely arms and disarms security systems, places systems on test, and provides plant managers with status and operation reports

• Liaises with physical security companies and contract security technicians

• Remotely monitors CCTV video of of Valvoline locations and notify facility managers of any issues

• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion

• Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time to plant locations.

• This is a remote position but the ideal candidate will be based in either OH or KY.
