Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking proficient CNC Machinists to join our team. The role involves machining quality parts from prints and work orders in a timely and accurate manner in a job shop environment with large machined parts including weldments. The position offers two shifts: First Shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Second Shift from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM with a shift differential. The machinist will be working with 2 Mill Machines, including a 30FT long Horizontal Machine.

Responsibilities

• Operate various CNC Equipment including Large Vertical and Horizontal Mills.

• Perform own set-ups and programming at the machine when needed.

• Proficient with feeds and speeds, tooling, shop math, and other machining related duties.

• Edit programs and set up tools, setting lengths offset.

• Complete spot checks and read custom blueprints for one-off custom fabrications.

• Ensure all measurements and tolerances remain within expectations.

• Eliminate downtime in machining operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

• Studying product and consumer requirements along with engineering, estimating, and manufacturing.

• Collecting material samples for conducting physical tests and analysis when necessary.

• Setting standards for in-process, finished product and rework.

Work Environment

The role offers two shifts with flexibility on hours for the second shift, which comes with a shift differential. The work involves operating large CNC machines in a job shop environment, working on custom fabrications. The work environment includes a mix of small and large parts, with a focus on maintaining high standards for in-process and finished products. Dress code is typical for a machining environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/hr.
