Job Title: Buyer Planner

Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement activities and planning to ensure the availability of materials required for production.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct procurement activities such as sourcing, negotiating contracts, and purchasing materials

  • Plan and schedule production orders based on inventory levels and demand forecasts

  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships

  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages

  • Utilize systems such as SAP and MRP for efficient planning and purchasing

  • Ensure compliance with procurement activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, supply chain, and procurement processes

  • Familiarity with Contract Management and understanding of pricing mechanisms

  • Knowledge of SAP, MRP systems, or similar tools for purchasing and planning

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams

This is a fully on-site position in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Fully onsite in Racine County, 7am-4:30pm hours M-F
