Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Set-Up Operator Press Braketo join the Kenall Manufacturing TeaminKenosha, Wisconsin. The set-up and operation of assigned fabrication machine to form parts from cold rolled, stainless steel and aluminum, according to manufacturing procedures and scheduling requirements.
2nd shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday - Friday, ( OT and Saturday is based on production needs)
What Will You Do?
Form parts from cold rolled, stainless steel and aluminum, according to manufacturing procedures and scheduling requirements
Set-up and operation ofAmada Press Brakes (RG, HFB, HDS and FBD) and Safan
Select, load and install correct tooling; maintain tool inventory: keep tools clean and orderly
Determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces
Stage completed product on skids
Work from live schedule, verbal and written instruction, bills of material, routing, samples, blue prints and control plans
Perform quality inspections of parts to produce products that exceed customer’s expectations
Assist in efficient flow of raw materials routed to the Track as well as the flow of materials in down-stream processes of parts; Utilize space in an efficient manner
Assist in down-stream operations as needed, depending on flow and workload
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills
2+ years Press Brake Set-up and operating experience, preferably with Amada HFB-FBD equipment or Safan
Previous metal fabrication background
Dimensional measuring and shop math competence
Ability to read and understand blue prints
Possess high caliber of quality control; strong skills in observing/ inspecting own work
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training, general direction and other issues with co-workers and supervisor
Ability to work within a team environment
Must be able to work overtime, as required
Ability to work in other areas in FAB as work load is needed
