Maxim Healthcare Services RN 1.1 School Nursing in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a self-motivated nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process in a school setting. The patient nurse ratio is 1:1.The nurse will autonomously perform according to Maxim's elevated nursing standards. Our future teammate is accountable in managing long term patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Our clients range from pediatric-geriatric and represent a wide variety of acuity levels. Shifts are client dependent. We service both night and day shifts that range from 4-14 hours. Let's work together to provide our community members with the care they need!

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to autonomously assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

  • Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.

  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in the state in which the nurse practices.

  • Current Health Certificate.

  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

  • Current BLS card.

  • One year prior nursing experience preferred.
