Job Description

Contractors will be working in teams of 1-3 to build various parts of industrial radiators. They will utilize hand and power tools to secure builds. These are large industrial radiators, some as big as a semi-trailer. Contractors will climb on top of the radiators using ladders or scissor lifts. They will also utilize an overhead crane to lift and move heavy objects. There are 7 different assembly areas that build either parts or full radiators. Once completed, they will perform leak tests.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams of 1-3 to build industrial radiators.

• Utilize hand and power tools to secure builds.

• Climb on top of radiators using ladders or scissor lifts.

• Utilize an overhead crane to lift and move heavy objects.

• Build parts or full radiators in 7 different assembly areas.

• Perform leak tests on completed radiators.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.

• 1 year of power tool experience.

• Ability to read a tape measure.

• 18 months of tenure from one company within the past 5 years.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints.

• Experience operating an overhead crane.

Work Environment

Assembly and fabrication shop. 1st shift from 5am-1:30pm, Monday to Friday. The facility is clean and organized but not temperature controlled, so it can get hot in the summer. This position will report to the Assembly Supervisor. The new push for the company is radiators for data centers, which is where future business is expected to come from.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENOSHA, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
