We are seeking an Item Data Specialist-Photo Coordinator at JOCKEY where you'll have the opportunity to work for a globally recognized brand in our corporate office located in Kenosha, WI. This highly visible position offers cross-functional exposure in our rapidly growing Ecommerce division. The Item Data Specialist-Photo Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate product photography across direct to consumer, marketplace and account websites. The role will partner with site merchandisers and buyers to understand product assortments and product content needs. The Item Data Specialist-Photo Coordinator will also facilitate digital photo shoots, manage image delivery deadlines, and validate image accuracy. Once images have been validated, the Item Data Specialist-Photo Coordinator will ensure images and swatches are linked to the appropriate styles and ensure site activation prior to deadline. This position requires strong written and verbal communication, creative thinking and project management skills as well as the ability to work with a cross-functional team including, buyers, site merchandisers and external photo studio partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the development of photo shoot calendars and timelines for product photography needs and serve as liaison between internal and external partners

  • Partner with site merchandisers to build digital photography shot lists that will best showcase product features and enhance the customer experience online

  • Manage product samples and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure sample availability aligns with business unit deadlines

  • Validate and approve digital product imagery, escalate errors for remediation and ensure final delivery meets business unit deadlines

  • Ensure delivery, completion and accuracy of image metadata for catalog and digital photography assets

  • Link images and swatches to the correct products in Salsify, ensuring products is ready go-live prior to customer delivery

  • Oversee product activation for owned websites and validate all item data including, but not limited to, product titles, price points, product imagery, etc. and remediate any discrepancies prior to go-live

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date product information and assets in our online product management system

  • As part of the Item Data team, collaborate to ensure products are represented accurately and consistently across entire digital ecosystem

  • Conduct regular competitive assessment of imagery trends and present findings and recommendations to leadership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, fashion merchandising, or a related field.

  • Previous experience working with product data in a digital merchandising capacity is preferred

  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, strong organizational skills; pro-active problem solving abilities

  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication presentation skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Self-motivated to deliver work at the highest quality standards

  • Commitment to continuing education and keeping up to date with industry trends and technology

  • Occasional availability on nights and weekends to support marketing campaigns and product updates

  • Able to work well collaboratively in a team environment.
