Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement activities and planning to ensure the availability of materials required for production.
Responsibilities
Conduct procurement activities such as sourcing, negotiating contracts, and purchasing materials
Plan and schedule production orders based on inventory levels and demand forecasts
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages
Utilize systems such as SAP and MRP for efficient planning and purchasing
Ensure compliance with procurement activities
Requirements
Proven experience in contract negotiation, supply chain, and procurement processes
Familiarity with Contract Management and understanding of pricing mechanisms
Knowledge of SAP, MRP systems, or similar tools for purchasing and planning
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams

Fully onsite in Racine County, 7am-4:30pm hours M-F
