Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Owner to join one of their top financial clients sitting in either Atlanta, GA or Plano, TX. This individual will be supporting a brand new product build, focusing on creating a new real time payment system used across the bank. This team will focus on operational excellency -- providing project guidance, flow charts, user stories etc., to fully scope the new design, and identify areas of improvement and optimization. These folks should ideally have an excellent understanding of real time payments and the full end to end cycle (or willingness to learn), and should have a solid understanding of technology, how systems communicate etc., in order to provide the best solutions to the business and guidance to the technical teams.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years experience working within product management, business analysis, and/or solutions design

-Strong ability to work cross functionally between technical teams and business users

-Strong experience with Jira

-Technical understanding of SQL, APIs, Kafka, MQ, and/or Java

-Strong banking/financial services background should support real time, heavily data centric projects (payments, front office, trade, risk data, etc) -Strong understanding of global financial payments -- wire transfers, wire payments, real time payments, treasury management, ACH null
