SUMMARY

Serves patrons of restaurant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Take orders for beverages and food.

• Delivers food and beverages to table and clears table after patrons have finished meals.

• Provides service to dining room.

• Perform detailed clerical and financial duties such as handling large sums of money, and taking inventory

• Handling problems and coping with the unexpected & daily tasks

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum 8th grade education with at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to communicate orally with other staff, supervisory personnel.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and common fractions.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
