Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field

  • Graduate degree preferred

Work Experiences:

  • 3 years of experience using data and metrics to drive insights and improvements

  • Understanding of commercial real estate, related systems and basic terminology

  • Experience in Retail Real Estate, Finance, Forecasting, etc.

  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, with a strong focus on real estate forecasting/strategy

  • A minimum of 3 years of retail real estate experience preferred

  • Build predictive models to forecast sales are preferred, but not required

Skills:

  • Demonstrate high versatility using Excel, creating complex reports, with emphasis on data mining, data preparation, and analysis with minimal supervision

  • Strong in working with Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and PowerPoint and able to develop presentations and dashboards

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities

  • Exceptional critical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated, organized, attention to detail and comfortable with some independent study/learning

  • Proactive; ready to take initiative to prioritize and drive projects

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sr Data Science Manager, as well as Real Estate Leadership, to forecast new stores and to improve process

  • The Sr. Analyst Real estate works closely with real estate team to assist in managing business-critical projects to ensure they are completed in timely manner

  • Develop and execute analytical tools to support leadership decision making and reporting tools to evaluate projects and business processes

  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to recognize the impact of process changes throughout the organization in order to effectively and efficiently implement process improvement

  • Provide thoughtful and effective solutions as well as plans for execution for each of his/her projects

  • Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned

  • Prepare reports/dashboards containing quantitative and qualitative data that will advise leadership and stakeholders of the status, dependencies, and opportunities of each project

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

  • Regular office attendance required

  • Up to 5% travel, as needed

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
