What is the job about? * *

Grundfos CBS is seeking an experienced Senior Key Account Manager – OEM’s CBS-USA & Canada to join its Commercial Building Services team. This position is on the Data Center team and responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the HVAC sector across the USA & Canada, with a focus on the data center market. This role requires a technical and strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth, develop tailored solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of Grundfos products and services. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets within the data center segment. This role will report to the Data Center Regional Manager for USA & Canada. Most important external work relations are data center stakeholders on a procurement, engineering and managerial level. Will take sales and strategic direction from the Regional Manager and VP of CBS Sales. Expected to liaise closely with CSSC, Operations and CBS Project Managers and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of the Brookshire, TX facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support now or in the future.

Your main responsibilities :  

Your background

  • Develop a deep understanding of products, applications and solutions relevant to the data center and OEM markets in the US and Canada. Effectively communicate this value proposition to drive data center and OEM sales.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key OEM customers in the HVAC industry. Understand their technical & business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the OEM sector.

  • Maintain state of the art level competencies by attending training courses, seminars, workshops, etc. as required.

  • Work within the Data Center Team, and collaborate with CSSC, Operations, Engineering and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met and to facilitate the development of customized solutions.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas of potential growth.

  • Lead negotiations and close deals with OEM customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with Grundfos’ business objectives

  • Provide regular updates and reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market insights to management.

We imagine that you have: *   *

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical or business degree required.

  • 1-3 years of Industrial, Commercial, Municipal sales or equivalent experience. Data center industry experience a strong advantage.

  • Solid technical aptitude, ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions and concepts.

  • Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering preferably in the engineered solutions or industrial products industry.

  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, channel management and partner relationships, with ability to build & maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders

  • Understanding of profit and loss accounting and the basic flow of revenue in an organization.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats and to various levels of customer and management audiences.

  • Ability to travel 5-10%, including overnights
