Essential Functions

Credit:

• Assist with customer set-up and maintenance

• Perform due diligence necessary to set credit limits for new and existing customers

• Work with Credit Manager in setting credit limits applicable to authority and elevate as necessary

• Monitor credit limit exposures

• Review of existing customers

• Interface with sales and operation personnel

• Interface with clients regarding payment terms

Collections – AR Management:

• Contact customers in ensuring payments are received

• Coordinate collections effort with sales and operations

• Follow up on payment disputes until resolved

• Coordinate legal efforts when necessary

• Recommend write-offs when necessary

• Respond to credit reference requests

• Provide W-9s as requested by customers

• Work with legal department to implement MSA agreements

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelors Degree or educational equivalent. 1 year of credit experience. General knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles. Specialized knowledge of accounting requirements pertaining to the area supported. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.

Position Summary

Under limited supervision, investigates and analyzes credit risks, working within guidelines established by the company. Prepares customer account reconciliation including credits on account payments and other open account balances. Assists in the collection of accounts. Handles special projects, as assigned.
