SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

[Provides radar system and communication systems integration analysis. Creates packaging for critical radar/communication components, and commercial electronics. Performs thermal and structural analysis on line-replaceable assemblies. Assists lead engineers in project execution. Familiar with a variety of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. Exhibits sound engineering judgment, as well as superior work ethic. Performs a variety of tasks. Demonstrates leadership of mechanical engineering groups. The highest degree of creativity is required.

Education: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Four to six (4-6) years in the use of multiple 3D Solid Modelers for complex mechanical design. Design of static and dynamic components of critical airborne components. Design and test of assemblies and fixtures for aerial, space, and/or military platforms.

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills: High level of verbal and written communications skills. Possession of Computer Skills in the following area: Mechanical and/or thermal Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools (Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CFDesign, COSMOS/FloWorks, ICEM CFD, etc.). Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Professional Suite. Will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
