Job Description:

Financial

  • Deliver relevant banking services to customers, in own coverage area to meet the revenue targets.

  • Achieve profit targets of Kaohsiung Branch from own portfolio via relationship management and promoting bank products including Loan, Deposit, FX, Derivatives and other Cross Sell products.

  • Collaborate with other members of the Kaohsiung Branch to ensure that profit targets are achieved as a whole.

Customer

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and understand their needs in order to provide a high quality of service.

  • Take actions for providing financial solutions that will deliver a high quality of service to customers with close supervision.

  • Work in partnership with Compliance and KYC Team to consult on compliance issues, including but not limited to Know Your Customer and Sanctions.

  • Work in partnership with Credit Risk Management Department on any credit issues associated with the deal.

  • Work in partnership with CS and respond promptly to customer inquiries and handle trouble shooting or complicated task.

  • Closely coordinate with relevant Departments in Taipei Branch for smooth operation and superior customer service while complying with internal procedures/regulations.

Other/Control

  • Obtain necessary internal approvals for new transaction, new accounts, renewal and deliver the product to the customers on time.

  • Develop business opportunities to increase revenue business by the proactive marketing.

  • Control credit risk of own portfolio of clients i.e. regular credit analysis, collecting information directly from customer as well as other sources and report in timely manner ( including Borrower Rating Review) to avoid credit loss.

  • Prepare presentation materials for customers and seek review from supervisor.

  • Carry out financial modelling on customers and their business to support deal proposals.

  • Negotiate with customers on matters including but not limited to contract terms and conditions and pricing, as well as seek commercial solutions to finalize the deal.

  • Participate in the relevant committee to support proposed deals and provide additional information when required.

  • Provide CS support for smooth daily operation and monitor progress whether all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

  • Arrange meetings to discuss ad-hoc issues to be solved.

  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as directed by GM of Kaohsiung Branch.

  • Prepare documents for internal and external audits within the Kaohsiung Branch by as required.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

  • Provide recommendations to CS for continuous improvement of operational efficiency and support implementation.

  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

  • Fluent in Japanese is required
