Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $61,000.00 - $93,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

Commercial Bank is hiring a Sales & Incentive Compensation Analyst to develop and manage commission, bonus, and Incentive programs for commercial banking. This is a high visibility role, frequently working with Executive Management to provide status updates and prioritize projects and Incentive Plan development.

Essential Functions

  • Calculate accurate, timely Incentive payments to Plan Participants

  • Manage multiple Incentive Plans and processes, working independently or with guidance on complex matters

  • Conduct analysis and modeling to drive enhancements to existing Plan designs and develop new Plans, when needed

  • Provide data and recommendations to support decisions regarding plan status, performance, and plan management

  • Maintain data integrity from multiple sources (billing systems, P&L, manager entered data, etc.)

  • Ensure a high level of customer service, including timely and effective communication, education of multiple stakeholder groups, and support of inquiries

  • Design standard and ad hoc reporting and presentations for multiple audiences

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Excellent analytical and deductive reasoning skills

  • Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills

  • Accuracy and Time management and prioritization (setting deadlines, communicating status/delays, and adapting to unexpected hurdles)

  • Clear focus on continuous improvement and innovation

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 2+ years experience managing incentive compensation plans preferred

  • Knowledge/experience working in commercial banking preferred

  • Highly skilled in Excel, Access, and/or SQL preferred

  • Experience managing or working with relational databases preferred

  • Experience working with Varicent software (formerly IBM compensation engine) preferred

*Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week

At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $61,000 to $93,000 annually.
