We are seeking a Director of Wireless to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD or the Kansas City area. The Director of Wireless will drive operational excellence while managing cross-functional teams and maintaining premium customer service standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities to execute strategic initiatives, conduct customer site visits, and maintain automated systems while delivering top-tier service standards and meeting financial objectives.

The Role

  • Lead and supervise professional, technical, and non-technical staff to achieve executive objectives

  • Establish performance measures, goals, and priorities for team members

  • Provide ongoing direction, feedback, and performance evaluations

  • Train and mentor staff while monitoring their development and progress

  • Brief team members on market-specific challenges and opportunities

  • Monitor P&L with focus on meeting company financial goals

  • Evaluate crew performance to ensure quality deliverables within time and budget constraints

  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships for field construction activities

  • Maintain computerized administration and automated systems

  • Prepare internal and external progress reports, project status updates, and problem resolution documentation

  • Conduct customer site visits to ensure delivery of top-tier service

  • Foster effective communication between departments and customers

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Generate comprehensive metric reports and statistics on daily, weekly, and monthly basis

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators

  • Deliver data-driven insights to support decision-making

  • Support other departmental initiatives as needed

  • Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the Wireless Construction, in a Project Manager or higher role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field a plus

  • Must have expertise in all aspects of wireless RF Design, and Construction

  • Ability to navigate large scale RFIs, RFQs for a multitude of Carriers and customers

  • Work seamlessly with other departments within the organization to ensure the timeliness and profitability of all projects

  • Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects, navigating RFIs, RFQs

  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional time management skill

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Strong computer skills using MS Office

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)

Salary Description
