Honeywell Associate Program Manager II in Kansas City, Missouri

Summary

Leads moderately complex program(s), and/or strategic business process development/execution. May act as primary program manager and/or engineer for one or more specific weapon, product/service, or reimbursable programs. Represents Program Management function for assigned program elements to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, determines and drives program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex weapons program elements.

  • Provides knowledgeable input to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to technical issues

  • Participates in the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements.

  • Provides support and guidance to the financial planning, monitoring, scheduling, preparation and release of technical/schedule information required for program/project planning.

  • Assists in establishment and oversight of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programs.

  • Performs some technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors for one or more weapons and growth programs.

  • Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established ES&H requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment.

  • Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every associate has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified

You Must Have

  • Two or more years of relevant experience in engineering, business or program management

  • Bachelor's degree is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is preferred

  • US Citizenship, capable of obtaining and maintaining a US Dept. of Energy "Q" level security clearance.
