Job Description Summary:

The Division of Dermatology seeks a GRA to work with our progressive and innovative faculty and staff. The Division has a growing research program that encompasses health services research and epidemiology, translational, and clinical research. The GRA will support research projects (e.g., Project Echo), assist with grant applications and other materials, and document data and research-related activities. This temporary, part-time student position reports to the Division Director of Dermatology. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a master\'s or doctoral program within KU\'s School of Medicine.

Job Description:

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

  • Superior organizational, administrative, time management, and communication abilities, with professionalism at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new applications; familiarity with REDCap and EndNote is a plus.
  • Strong background in quantitative analysis with excellent analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to respond promptly to requests and complete tasks on time.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student (min. 6 credit hours) in a KU School of Medicine graduate program.

Compensation Statement:

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.

Pay Range:

\$74,800.00 - \$84,800.00
