Job Title: Bilingual Warehouse Lead (English/Spanish)

Job Description:

The Bilingual Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring that productivity targets are met without compromising quality or safety standards. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, enabling effective communication with a diverse team. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, ensuring they understand and execute their tasks efficiently.

• Bilingual Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among English and Spanish-speaking team members.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

• Training: Provide training and support to new and existing employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce and maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

• Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including layout and workflow improvements.

• Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and quality of all outbound shipments and incoming deliveries.

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and any issues encountered.

• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment and machinery.

Qualifications:

• Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus.

• Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information:

• Location: Kankakee, IL 60901

• Working Hours: 7am to 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, 7am to 11am on Fridays

• Salary: $18 - $20 based on experience

• Temporary to Hire Position
