Repair Center Technician Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan

Key Responsibilities:
- Investigating customer complaints in a timely manner and in accordance with global regulations.
- Communicating with Field Service Technicians and Sales Account Managers to gather information necessary for thorough complaint investigations.
- Tracking and meeting Corporate, Divisional, and Team Complaint Handling metrics.
- Following local and corporate SOPs to ensure compliance with external requirements.
- Leading the completion of service report recording once identified by a Quality Engineer.
- Handling inquiries from sales representatives, service technicians, technical support teams, and production line personnel.
- Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing medical devices to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Documenting all service and repair activities accurately in compliance with company policies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while following safety procedures and industry best practices.
*Qualifications: *
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electronic components.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, diagrams, and service manuals.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using repair and diagnostic tools, as well as software systems for tracking service activities.
- Experience in a medical device or healthcare-related industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with complaint handling processes and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a repair center or technical service role is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
