Position Summary: Working in the Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) Zoetis Tech & Digital (ZTD) Global Systems team, this position has the responsibility for system ownership and global deployment of the PAS-X Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution. This role will be the primary point of contact across all Global Manufacturing & Supply ZTD for PAS-X and other manufacturing shop floor applications. This includes expansion of capabilities for collection and manipulation of shop floor data to produce meaningful analytics in support of cost reductions and process improvements.

The MES Systems Lead will: Lead global deployment teams facilitating the configuration and deployment of PAS-X solution to additional Zoetis manufacturing plants as determined in partnership with GMS leadership Support the existing PAS-X solution deployed in Kalamazoo, Lincoln, Olot, Louvain-la-Neuve and Campinas; develop and support a Zoetis core version of PAS-X Support SAP / PAS-X interfaces deployed to all PAS-X sites Engage and drive vendor support as required Perform hands-on technical development and support work as necessary Work with Global Engineering to identify opportunities for effective shop floor data analytics projects in support of specific business outcomes, such as cost reduction, process improvement, or enhanced data integrity

Position Responsibilities: ZTD Problem Resolution: Provide support to our business in response to Help Desk tickets, Service Requests and ad hoc requests, meeting or exceeding established service level agreements Resolve problems and identify issue-prevention opportunities and solutions, demonstrating true service excellence

Ongoing Business Support: Interface with our internal business partners in the understanding of business requirements Actively engage with the business to identify and develop continuous improvement initiatives; develop business cases for continuous improvement activities Engage with ZTD application solution teams in the identification, evaluation, and recommendation of IT solutions Assist with definition of solution scope and development of project plans and budgets Engage with Risk Management and ZTD Compliance in the implementation of compliant solutions (Good Manufacturing Practices, Security, Business Continuity, etc.), and interface with internal business partners for all related ZTD compliance activities (Validation, Qualification, Audit preparation, Continuity testing, etc.) Engage with ZTD infrastructure support teams in the identification of required improvements

Solution Development: Develop ZTD solutions to meet basic business-related requirements for manufacturing operations that are not included in the scope of other established Global solutions Engage with the business while working with global resources to identify and define process improvements utilizing existing application footprint Deploy solutions typically utilizing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software in lieu of custom development that are practical, risk-balanced, and end-to-end in scope Perform testing to demonstrate viability of solutions; requires experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures Participate in the effort to educate our internal business partners on the end-to-end nature of solutions As required, serve as the primary point of contact for project implementations and technical solutions May direct the work of contract resources brought on for specific projects
