Our market-leading textiles laboratory in Istanbul, Turkey is seeking an Instrumental Laboratory Analyst.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Instrumental Laboratory Test Analyst performs specialized laboratory testing and analysis of substantial variety and complexity.

You will perform calculations, prepare reports and assess proper calibration and standardization of equipment and procedures. In addition, you will record and analyse data and prepare written reports

• Performing routine tests and procedures and Good Manufacturing Methods / Good Control Methods (GMP / GLP).

• Performing more extensive / non-routine or detailed testing and analysis

• Execution of calculations, preparation of reports and examination of appropriate calibration and standardization for equipment and procedures

• Writing test methods and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and examining the data

• Operation, calibrating and troubleshooting of instruments.

• Implement procedures that require selection and adaptation of tests and test equipment and test procedures. Writing and analyzing of data, preparation of written reports and procedures.

• Routine tasks may require providing training to others.

• Considering risk and opportunity based on ISO / IEC 17025

• Ensure that the integrity of the QMS is maintained while planning and implementing it when there is a change in the work processes in the laboratory.

• To recognize, implement and develop the principles and conditions of the QMS according to the General Conditions for the Qualification of Testing and Calibration Laboratories and to make suggestions for improvement works and to participate in these studies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related disciplines or at least 3 years of laboratory experience

• Must possess Instrumentation analysis experience in a similar environment - product testing, supplier laboratory or pharmaceutical

• Experience of organic and wastewater testing experience and being able to use Mass Spectrometry techniques, specifically: GC-MS (Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry and LC-MS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry)

• MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point)

• Completed military service (for male candidates)

• Knowledge and experience in laboratory testing concepts and reporting

• Fluent knowledge of English

• Solution-oriented, strong communication and representation skills

• Strong inclination to teamwork

• Dynamic, careful, open to learning
