Job Overview

As an Office Manager/Human Resources Manager, you will play a dual role, balancing comprehensive office management duties with key human resources responsibilities. You will oversee all front office activities, coordinate IT tasks, manage purchasing requests, and ensure smooth office operations. Additionally, you will handle benefits coordination, employee onboarding, and maintain personnel records. Success in this role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with prior experience in office administration and human resources, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Qualifications:

  • Two to five years of combined experience in human resources and office management.

  • Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

  • strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks accurately in a dynamic environment.

  • strong customer focus and interest in employee relations, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Office Management:

  • Perform front desk/reception duties such as answering phones, greeting guests, coordinating deliveries, and ordering office supplies.

  • Address employee queries related to office management.

  • Maintain an inventory of office supplies, compare prices, and purchase items as needed.

  • Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate with technical support for troubleshooting.

  • Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, organizing office records, and operating office equipment.

  • Assist in organizing in-house or off-site activities like company events, celebrations, and conferences.

  • Handle additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth business operations.

  • Keep track of business licenses, vehicle registrations, and vehicle insurance.

Human Resources:

  • Assist in coordinating employee benefits and onboarding processes.

  • Maintain and file personnel records.

  • Stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices.

  • Create weekly labor force schedules.

  • Handle additional tasks as necessary.
