Robert Half Sourcing Specialist II in Juno Beach, Florida

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist II in the industry, based in Juno Beach, Florida. The role centers around executing the sourcing process for assigned business areas and administering policies and programs. The Sourcing Specialist II will also be responsible for preparing simple sourcing agreements and maintaining relationships with business units and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the sourcing process for assigned business areas, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.

• Interact with operating business units, legal experts, and ISC personnel.

• Engage with the supplier community and industry analysts to develop and maintain professional relationships.

• Analyze responses to simple bid requests, distill commercial differences, and provide succinct recommendations for supplier selection.

• Conduct negotiations successfully and execute purchase orders.

• Participate in sourcing project teams, contributing to strategy development and progress reports.

• Develop and maintain relationships with business units and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

• Conduct industry analysis and evaluate supplier performance, providing market data to support supplier selection and qualification.

• Participate in sourcing data analysis, forecasting, and planning to drive down the total cost of ownership.

• Develop new sources of supply and monitor ongoing supplier performance.

• Uphold the highest level of integrity in all business dealings, adhering to corporate guidelines and legal and environmental regulations. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to handle materials and execute tasks with precision

• Experience in supervising a team and exhibiting leadership skills

• Familiarity with onboarding procedures and policy implementation

• Negotiation skills and the ability to progress in a fast-paced environment

• Capability to perform forecasting and procurement tasks

• Basic knowledge in engineering principles

• Skill in data analysis and staffing procedures

• Experience in handling purchase orders and liaising with suppliers

• Ability to provide workstation support

• Proficiency in planning and organizing tasks effectively.
