We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Application Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, excellent technical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. As a Salesforce Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the technical aspects of Salesforce projects, ensuring that they align with business objectives and industry best practices.

The role will…

• Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, including configuration, customization, integration, and data migration.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Design and architect scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices.

• Provide guidance and expertise to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that technical solutions are implemented according to design specifications.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure that development best practices are followed.

• Define and document technical architectures, including system integrations, data models, and security models.

• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and best practices, and provide recommendations for optimizing existing solutions.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations and provide guidance to stakeholders on solution design and implementation.

• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and support as needed.

You'll have…

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.

• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions including custom applications, integrations, and data migrations

• 5+ years of multi-cloud architecture experience (Sales/Service/Marketing/Data Cloud).

Even better if you have…

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect.

• Demonstrated experience leading end to end technical architecture of medium-large scale Salesforce implementations ensuring performance, scalability and adherence to technical best practices.

• Demonstrated data migration strategy and implementation experience, preferably through Mulesoft.

• Strong understanding of Mulesoft Anypoint platform with ability to architect & design scalable APIs for batch, real-time and near-real time integration patterns.

• Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, engineering managers & architects to optimize integration architecture.

• Strong expertise in designing and implementing Apex, LWC, Visualforce and other Salesforce components.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Data Cloud and its applicability for Marketing Cloud & Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud use cases.

• Self-motivated and independent contributor with experience leading Proofs of Concept (POCs) and staying abreast of latest Salesforce features, especially around AI.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to give presentations, demos to senior leadership and in various tech forums within Ford Credit.

• Experience working in Agile development methodologies is a plus.
