What Quality Assurance contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.

Quality Assurance develops and implements a compliant and cost effective quality system that assures products and services are reliable, safe and effective. This job family provides oversight of production/manufacturing activities, training to operational and quality control personnel, and educates business leaders on Quality policies and procedures and ensures that all products and services are properly reviewed for quality and documented.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance will handle legal responsibility under national or federal regulations such as taking reasonable measures of care

regarding their own safety, health and well-being, and that of other people who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.

Follow established EHS policies and procedures

Encourage co-workers to follow EHS procedures

Participate in employee engagement activities, such as EHS inspections and EHS meetings

Report EHS hazards and incidents, assist in root cause analysis where appropriate, and collaborate to find solutions or

Complete mandatory EHS training

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Fluent English written and speaking
