Eaton Corporation Division Sales Engineer in Juarez, Mexico

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS ICD division is currently seeking a Division Sales Engineer.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Eaton Corporation's Industrial Controls Division (ICD) has an immediate opening for a Division Sales Engineer-Drives located in our Frontera plant (Juarez, MX).

The primary function is to support internal and external customers and/or the sales organization for CTO and ETO quotes relating to Enclosed Drives and Enclosed Control products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Active involvement in Transition Management, roles and task assignment, implementation of daily/weekly/monthly team reporting activities, operational excellence, and continuous improvements initiatives.

Drive growth through a focus on customer satisfaction, reducing customer effort, and achieving cycle time/cost improvements with team-based problem solving.

Participates in completion of daily Division Sales Engineer workload to achieve the Service Level Agreement, including preparing recommendations, price estimates and written proposals for open and engineered (enclosed) drives with Reps, Distributors and Sales partners within their respective region.

Coordinates continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives with Product Management and peers to ensure customer and sales effort is reduced.

Engages cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, project management and product line sales groups. Work with the North American Sales organization to close new orders and meet sales, orders and market share growth objectives.

Provide contract management of engineered product orders for assigned customer base to ensure customer satisfaction and desired margin performance.

Assist product managers as requested with product development activities to ensure achievement of desired end results.

Analyze cost data on standard products and shipping orders to monitor performance and take action to ensure achievement of financial objectives.

Develop and apply knowledge of drives products to improve sales support and acquire knowledge of competitive products.

Assist and participate in the preparation of financial plans / objectives including monthly rolling forecasts, yearly profit plans and five-year strategic plans as requested.

Direct / take action with all internal operating areas as required to meet customer commitments and the operating objectives of the business.

Assist and participate in the development and execution of marketing and growth strategies for assigned products / territory.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Minimum 2 years’ experience on a sales support role for the electrical sector

• Minimum of 1 year experience in application control engineering or similar environment

• Must be able to legally travel to the United States for work/training/conferences as needed.

Position Criteria:

• Excellent communication, problem solving, strong time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics and specifications.

• Ability to develop quotation packages.

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Applications.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering or similar field (BSEET or BSME)

• Knowledge of motor control productions including adjustable speed drives.
